We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was perfect - from the modern and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom to the comfortable beds and cozy lounge area. The villa was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was evident with little extras like spray oil and tissues provided. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was fantastic, with a beautiful beach just a short walk away and easy access to nearby cafes and restaurants. a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it.

The location was mind-blowing, just a few hundred feet from the beach and surrounded by picturesque landscapes. The plush units were super cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The shaded parking was a jaw-dropping convenience. The shower was great and the nearby supermarket and restaurants were a pleasant surprise. The staff, especially Jo-Anna, was extremely friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable.

This villa was absolutely mind-blowing! Just a 10-minute walk from a jaw-dropping beach with a stunning view from the living room onto a large garden filled with an array of beautiful birds. It was super quiet in a pleasant neighborhood. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the location allowed us to explore unique and interesting attractions like the Pupu power station and Arch Way Islands. The units themselves were plush and well-equipped, with a shaded parking area right next to the door. The shower was great and the beds were comfortable. It was conveniently located near both Golden Bay and Tasman Park, as well as supermarkets and restaurants in Takaka. We couldn't have asked for a nicer experience, especially with the lovely touch of small extras like spray oil and tissues. Seeing the gardens in the morning was the icing on the cake! Fellow Canadians, you'll be blown away by this unforgettable stay!

I had an absolutely glorious night at this wonderful place. The cleanliness and comfortable beds exceeded my expectations. The shower was beautiful and the heat pump kept the room warm. The little details like the spray oil and box of tissues made my stay even more enjoyable. And waking up to the breathtaking gardens was just the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this hotel.

What a gem of a place! My stay at Patons Rock Beach Villas was absolutely perfect. I stayed here for one night after finishing four days walking Abel Tasman. The accommodation was lovely and the gardens were beautiful! The modern bathroom and kitchen were great for self-catering, and the comfy lounge and multiple outdoor spaces were a bonus. The location was fantastic, with the beach just a 2-minute walk away. The surrounding garden was like living in a park, with an abundance of bird life. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you find your way to Golden Bay.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome from Wade and Kimberley. The bungalows were mind-blowingly well-designed and maintained, nestled in a beautiful garden just minutes from the serene beach. The attention to detail and high-quality amenities made our stay super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including cookware and utensils, and little touches like salt, pepper, and oil were jaw-droppingly thoughtful. We loved watching the birds in the peaceful surroundings. The shaded parking right by the door was a plus, and the shower and beds were top-notch. The location was perfect, close to stunning Golden Bay and Tasman Park, as well as a great supermarket and restaurants. Jo-Anna, who took care of the units, was incredibly friendly. All in all, an absolutely amazing experience that makes us eager to return.

patons rock beach villas exceeded our expectations during our longer stay in takaka. the lovely chalet had everything we needed and the park-like grounds were just a short walk from the beach. the hosts were helpful and the check-in/out process was easy. overall, a quiet, comfy and well-appointed place that we would stay at again.
